As for health and safety, well, you’re not going to get very far if your workplace is actually a dangerous place in which to work. A lack of safety can get your business shut down quite easily, so definitely take care as far as this is concerned.
Accounting
Running a business is all about the money, right? Even in this context, it’s an essential element. If the finances are not in order, then the rest of the business is going to be in big trouble – employee satisfaction hinges on your ability to pay them, as well as being able to finance building upkeep, training, and bonuses. If you don’t want to hire a full-time accountant or can’t afford to, then you should look into getting the work outsourced. That, or you need to understand the basics of accounting methods. This isn’t exactly recommended, though; you’re going to be too busy to deal with accounting, so perhaps this is one juggling ball that really is left to someone else if you want to ensure the job security of your employees!
