As part of the Sydney Design celebration, Young Blood: Designers Market will be on this Friday to Saturday at the iconic Powerhouse Museum. The market showcases original design, from fashion to furniture, jewellery, graphic, product, landscape and lighting design and gives visitors the opportunity to meet the designers and talk to them about their arts,designs and products
Young Blood is also a great launch opportunity, offering designers a high profile, respected platform to promote and sell their products and services. Young Blood was first launched back in 2005 during Sydney Design festival and has since grown into a regular curated event that is part of the Powerhouse museum’s commitment to foster and promote Australian design. Being selected for the market gives designers access to industry, media and commercial contacts, as well as thousands of design-savvy shoppers. It is also a great opportunity for these young emerging designers to build their brands and to promote their creative designs.
The event is featuring more than 37 hot designers stalls. They will be joined by 23 international designers as part of designboom mart. Both markets are located inside the Museum, across three floors. Plenty of opportunity to check out the existing exhibitions as well as doing your designer shopping. Live Music and DJ will be playing on the Opening night from 5pm this Friday. Come along and support these talented designers . and if you are hungry, grab something to eat at the tapas bar and enjoy a glass of sparkling at the bar to celebrate the end of Sydney Design festival.
